A lunch area and time slot, can be allocated for your group to eat your packed lunches. You will, however, need to bring your own lunches which, on arrival, can be stored in one of our numbered containers.

Please note: We do not have any facilities in which to store coats or bags.

The National Space Centre Gift Shop sells a variety of gifts and educational toys that your students can purchase.

Your group will be allocated a shop slot during your visit, please stick to this to reduce congestion in the shop during busy periods.

We also offer shop packs which are available to pre-order when booking your visit. Costings are £3.00 a pack and include a pen, a pencil and 2-in-1 UFO eraser and pencil sharpener. Please enquire at the time of booking.

On arrival a member of Space Crew will meet you in the coach park, brief your students and guide your group to the main entrance to ensure your trip runs smoothly.

Coach parking is free for educational groups who book in advance.

A free pre-visit is available to organisers with a confirmed booking - a maximum of two teachers per confirmed booking may attend. Please note pre-visits are for teachers attending the visit, and so friends and family cannot be admitted as part of the free pre-visit; they must pay separately to enter.

Official school documentation is required for both teachers upon arrival. Pre-booking is required, please contact our bookings team for more information.

Our trails can be used to guide your students around the galleries and engage them in the content we have to offer.

These are available in a pdf format and can be downloaded from our website and printed before your visit - click here for more information.

Please note: We may not be able to print on the day and any printing will incur a cost.

All Space Centre staff have been checked against the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS - formally CRB) and carry a photographic ID card at all times.
