Covid Update

At this time unfortunately the Boosters cafe will not be available for drinks we advise you bring drinks with you. It is  required that all adults and children over 11 wear face coverings inside the centre unless exempt.

Visits will also be structured differently, until restrictions are lifted. Each bubble will be assigned a chaperone to move groups around the centre and ensure bubbles don't mingle. Enhanced cleaning will continue to take place and extra hand sanitiser will also be available throughout the centre.

We quote most prices net (excluding VAT) over the phone, as some schools are able to claim this back.  We recommend that you discuss this with your finance department to see if you are liable for VAT.  The National Space Centre is obliged to charge VAT.

We can provide an area and time slot for your group to eat your packed lunches. You will, however, need to bring your own lunches which, on arrival, will be stored in one of our numbered containers.

Please note:-  We do not have any facilities in which to store coats or bags.

The National Space Centre Cargo Bay Shop sells a variety of gifts and educational toys that your students can purchase. If you would like to order gifts for your group, our bookings team can provide a Cosmic Cargo Pack which will be ready for your group during your visit. These must be ordered two weeks before your visit.

Coach Parking

The National Space Centre has a dedicated coach park adjacent to the Space Centre main entrance. On arrival a Space Crew representative will meet you in the coach park, brief your students and guide your group to the main entrance to ensure your trip runs smoothly.

A free pre-visit is a available to organisers with a confirmed booking - a maximum of two teachers per confirmed booking may attend. Official school documentation will be needed on arrival and pre-booking is essential please contact our bookings team for more information.

It is recommended that you use one of our gallery trails to guide your students around our galleries. These are available in a pdf format and can be downloaded from our website and printed - click here for more information. Trails printed on arrival will incur a printing cost.
